Research Interests:
In the broadest terms my research interests lie within the fields of aquatic ecology, microbiology and biogeochemistry with aim to understand ecosystem functioning.
I use an interdisciplinary approach through a combination of biological, geochemical, and molecular techniques in order to study the interactions between microorganisms, meiofauna and macrofauna and their effects on the carbon and nutrient cycles.
